As the number of people living in Florida grows, the number of Manatees shrinks, as a result of the development necessary to support the growing population. Many manatees fall victim to dwindling habitats, while other are struck and injured or killed by speedboats. Hundreds of Floridians have joinedin an effort to save this captivating animal from extinction. Endangered mermaids tells the story of the manatee in Florida through the eyes of the many people who study, care for and rescue them. The film follows the rescue of two manatees stuck in a Cocoa Beach storm drain. Though most animals caught in storm drains do not survive, after a heroic rescue, these manatees were transfered to Sea World for treatment and rehabilitation, then released. This is a powerful film about animals Columbus once mistook for mermaids, but more importantly, a story about people who are working together towards a common goal to save a species from extinction.

Explosions for the Common Man.
Eps 1
Tom and Charlie get a letter from a guy named Glenn whose wife left him heartbroken and alone in their mobile home. He asked B&B to bring him some closure by destroying singlewides and everyday household items. That is exactly what they do. Because turning on the Tv or Opening the fridge was brining Glenn to tears, they launched TVs and a fridge off an eleven story building. To cut away the pain, the chain sawed everything in a mobile home and then pushed it off a cliff. For the grand finale, B&B team rigged and exploded a singlewide with prejudice.
Eps 2
A "Big Truck Guy" named Mike asks Tom and Charlie to mount an assault on the motorcycles and compact cars that constantly cut him off. Tom and Chalrie with Nico and the gang make sure Mike gets his wish. The apprentices roast a sport motorcycle with the afterburner of a jet truck. They take a small fleet of little cars and wreck into each other until the cars will no longer run. They make the ultimate compact car by dropping a little red automobile out of an airplane from 10 000 feet. For the grand finale, the B&B team makes a classic compact car explode into two hunks of flaming steel spiraling in opposite directions.
Eps 3
It all starts with a letter from a certain Private Culp. He wanted to see RVs get destroyed and that is exactly what the crex set out to do.They push an RV off a cliff.... with less than perfect results.They crush another RV with a tank and then Kourtney drills a compact car with the mounted gun for good measure. For the grand finale, the B&B team orchestrates an elaborate moving stunt where one RV drives into another RV and explodes the two of them in a mind-blowing conflagration.
Eps 4
A hard luck farmer named Mike inspires the Boom crew to go on a farm-themed destruction spree. They use a tractor as a wrecking ball to destroy a barn. They obliterate dairy products and anything else they can find. And since Mike was stuck between a rock and a hard place, the used giant rocks to bowl away the pain. They literally roll boulders down a hill and let the boulders crush whatever is in their path. For the big finale Tom & Charlie explode an entire farmhouse.
Eps 5
A down-on-his-luck fellownamed Sheldon writes to Tom and Charlie about his unpleaseant run-in with the Arizona Authorities... after he decided to run down a row of parking meters. Since the Authorities stopped his fun, he asked Tom & Charlie to help him vent his anger. That's exactly what they do. The apprentices commit a moving violation by tossing breakables out of a truck. They roast some senitmental items with a flame thrower. Sheldon's truck antics are taken a step further when Nico get a friend with a monster truck to run over an old cop car. The ultimate payback comes from Tom, Charlie and the rest of the B&B crew when they launch a meter maid 75 feet into the air, flip it mutliple times, explode it and leave a shower of parking tickets floating to the ground.
Eps 6
Boom fan, Katie Plimpton, writes to Tom and Charlie with a sad tale about an inattentive husband. She's been coming second place to her husband's deep passion for fishing over the last 20 years of their marriage. To help Mrs Plimpton get some redemption, the crew blow up a 2000 pound tuna, drop a three-ton shipping container on a fishing boat and then Tom and Charlie explode an old day-cruising boat into oblivion.

During the summer everything is possible. It's usually a moment where people live a different life. This summer we've followed people during their holidays and that will change their lives forever.

- Alexis, Adventure in Africa.
Alexis Fourneau is 14, he dreamt of making a safari with his father who is a photographer. Fond of animals, Alexis especially likes insects, however he wishes to see leopards, since they are so difficult to take pictures of.

- Victor, the little brother.
Valérie and Thierry Beaudry (38 and 44) have adopted three years ago Quentin, a russian orphan who is 5 today. His parents have decided to give him a little brother.

- First holidays without the parents.
Martin and his friends are all between 15 and 17 years old, and they've all managed to go on holidays without their parents for the first time of their life.

- Thierry, the hunt for the lost city
Thierry Jamin, 31, travels to the Peruvian jungle, since 12 years ago he saw on a satellite picture something that makes him believe that he has found a lost city in the Amazon forest. This summer he's given himself the chances to have a look for himself and to find the treasure of Atahualpa.

Episode One: Blood Splatter
In a case that shocked a small town community, blood splatter expert Pat Laturnus is called in to investigate a tragic accident that has left a woman dead. Her husband is distraught but something about his story is not adding up and the evidence is telling another story altogether.

Episode Two: Finger Prints
The murder weapon in an execution style slaying of a shopkeeper becomes the most important piece of evidence at the killer’s trial. But unless the forensic detective can demonstrate his expertise in the witness box, the case could fall apart and a murderer will go free.

Episode Three: DNA
In a race against time, homicide detectives and a team of forensic experts must try to prove a psychopath’s guilt in the violent death of a homeless man, left lying in a pool of blood in a downtown bus shelter. New forensic DNA techniques are put to the test halfway through the preliminary trial with startling results.

Episode Four: Tire Impressions
When the body of a young man is found in a parking lot, police have nothing to go on except a partial tire print on the dead mans shoe. Through painstaking impression comparison work, forensic officers are able to identify the vehicle that left its mark at the crime scene and leads to the arrest of a notorious drug dealer.

Episode Five: Foot Morphology
Whilst a savvy criminal will know that wearing gloves or wiping down the crime scene will eradicate their fingerprints, it is near impossible to avoid walking around or away from the scene. Sergeant Kennedy puts his new forensic application of footprint identification to work on a murder case that goes all the way to the Supreme Court.

Episode Six: Body Identification
The disappearance of a wealthy businessman takes a drastic turn for the worse when his kidnappers are arrested. Forensic interrogators uncover the grisly truth and in a tangle of legalities, police must try to prove that the victims’ death was no accident. Forensic dentistry and anthropology are the only chance that the police have of changing a kidnapping charge into a murder conviction.

Episode Seven: Cyber Crime
A computer hacker is causing cyber mayhem on some of the world’s largest Internet sites, causing hundreds of millions of dollars in damage and an international surge of panic. FBI and RCMP computer crime specialists scramble for a lead and are amazed at their findings.

LES ENFANTS ESCLAVES / CHILD SLAVERY

It all started because of stolen cars in Nigeria found in Benin. In exchange of these cars and under the pression of UNICEF, the Nigerian government says it’s ready to send back 6 000 Beninese children, who work in Nigeria as slaves! It’s the first time that an African government admits the existence of child slavery.
The existence of the slave children is a direct consequence of a perverted African tradition : the « Vidomégons ». A word which means children which were “given” by poor families to other members of their families, who live further away and are more wealthy, to raise them. With time, these children became slaves and are exploited without any reserve by their “foster” families. Nowadays, they are even being sold. In Benin 7 families out of 10 use a “vidomégon” child. These foster families do not consider them as slaves since they are fed by them, even worse, they’re not even considered as human beings. Rapes, torture, beatings and killing of these slave children prove it.

Locations and key scenes:

John visits three wineries near his home in Santa Barbara, California. Here, he learns about different wine varieties and the words that are used to describe them:

• At Gainey Winery, John discusses Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc, and learns about the fermentation process.
• At Byron Winery, where they specialize in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, John discovers why red wine is red.
• At Foxen Winery, he tastes Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon and learns how the location of a vineyard affects the taste of the wine.

But what about value for money? In a short sketch, John plays two roles- a wine waiter and his unfortunate guest, then gets advice from a real sommelier about ordering wine in a restaurant. He hosts a wine tasting party at his home to which he invites many friends (including actor Brendan Fraser). They try to identify a range of mystery wines and guess the price of each. Finally, John invites two experts to his home, where they discuss how to store and serve wine.

The emphasis is on personal taste. As John says:
"Don’t let anyone tell you what wine you should like because people have different tastes, and we shall honor that."
