EYES TO THE SKIES

We travel to America’s most important strategic air command posts for exclusive visits, beginning with the eyes in the skies “watch dog” known as NORAD, hidden inside Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs. We briefly visit Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska, the campus that has trained America’s war generals.

Of the three arms of the nuclear triad that Offutt – or USStratCom – oversees as the potential attack dog in the nation’s arsenal – we survey the Trident-class submarines, the B2 Stealth Bomber and, finally, we visit the Intercontinental Ballistics Missiles program at F.E. Warren Air Force in Cheyenne, Wyoming.? As we learn how the military is posed for battle inside the bunkers, we show how these missiles are tested at Vandenberg Air Force base, on the coast of Central California.
